Exploring Gigamall, a Vietnamese Shopping Mall
Gigamall officially opened in Vietnam on 12 January 2019. The mall has 8 floors: 6 for shopping and entertainment and 2 for offices.
Set on Pham Van Dong, a main road in Thu Duc district, it is perfectly placed for residents of Binh Thanh, Thu Duc, Go Vap and District 9, who can get there with ease. And it isn't only for people in Ho Chi Minh City: visitors from neighbouring provinces such as Binh Duong and Dong Nai can reach it easily too.
The walkways at Gigamall are designed with shoppers in mind: wide, comfortable and very clean.
What sets Gigamall apart from other malls in Vietnam is JD World, a high-tech entertainment complex on the 6th floor.
The play area is divided into zones for all ages, from children to adults.
The zone just for little ones is wonderful, with completely safe games and staff keeping a close eye on the children.
The adults' zone is just as impressive, with exciting games – and notably, JD World's high-tech attractions were brought in by Vietnamese engineers for the first time, letting Vietnamese people experience some of the most exciting games in the world today first-hand.
Beyond fun and games, Gigamall is generous when it comes to food and drink too, devoting as much as 30,000 m2 to dining.
Well-known brands are all there for you to choose from, such as Highlands, Gong Cha, Baskin Robbins, Dairy Queen and BreadTalk. For meals, you'll find must-try names such as Kichi Kichi, Jollibee, Pizza Hut, Hotpot Story and Lotteria, all in central spots to suit every kind of diner.
