Ingredients
Tapioca starch 200 g
Fresh prawns 140 g
Spring onions 1 stalk
Minced shallots 1 tablespoon
Minced chilli 1 tablespoon
Minced garlic 1 tablespoon
Implementation Steps
01
- Put 1.5 bowls of cold water in a pot with 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and 1/2 tablespoon of salt.
- When the water boils, turn off the heat, let it cool a little, then add the tapioca starch and knead until the dough is smooth.
02
- Heat a pan to stir-fry the prawns.
- Fry the shallots and garlic until fragrant, then add the prawns and season with 1 tablespoon of seasoning powder.
- Stir-fry well; when the prawns turn orange, turn off the heat.
03
- Roll the dough out on a flat surface and use a round cutter or small glass to cut out circles.
- Put a prawn in the middle and pinch the dough closed with your fingers.
04
- Boil the dumplings; when they float, they're cooked.
- Lift them out into a bowl of iced water so they become chewier and more translucent.
