Ingredients
Beef fillet 400 g
Cheese 80 g
Straw mushrooms 120 g
Carrot 1 piece
Jicama 1 piece
Brown sauce 4 tablespoon
Onion 1 piece
Margarine 1 tablespoon
Pink peppercorns 50 g
Salt and black pepper 2 tablespoon
Implementation Steps
01
Prepare the ingredients

Rinse the beef fillet and cut it into very thin slices, then pound them with a meat mallet until tender.

Cut the cheese into small sticks. Trim the bases off the straw mushrooms, soak them in lightly salted water for about 10 minutes, drain and chop finely.

Peel the onion; slice half of it thinly and mince the other half. Peel and rinse the carrot and jicama, then grate them into thin strips.
02
Put a little salt and pepper in a bowl, add the beef and mix well. Marinate for 20–30 minutes.
03
Once the beef has marinated, lay the slices out on a large chopping board. Place a stick of cheese on each, add some carrot, jicama and sliced onion, then roll up.
04
When all the rolls are done, set a frying pan over the heat and add half of the butter. Once it has melted and is hot, add the beef rolls and fry for 4–5 minutes until golden and just cooked.
05
Next, melt the remaining butter in another pan and fry the minced onion until fragrant. Add the straw mushrooms and cook through, then stir in the brown sauce and pink peppercorns, and season with seasoning powder and salt to taste.
06
Arrange the beef and cheese rolls on a plate and pour the mushroom sauce over the top. Garnish with chilli sauce, corn and roast potatoes, and it's ready.

Beef and cheese rolls with mushroom sauce are delicious yet quite easy to make. So if you have some time, show off your skills and add some variety to your family meals!
